B4 1964 it was Leftist but a kinda subdued Shadow Government operation...
After JFK - things changed and the party lurched to the Left becoming the "Democrat Party"...
After the Clinton administration the "Demercrats" were born.
Demercrats are openly Marxist Progressive Socialists.
The Demercrat model is to achieve a Socialist USA by indoctrination(media and public schools), intimidation(judicial activism and police state)
and imposition (Federal laws). This approach is favored because the "dedicated" Progressives are a minority of maybe 5% of the US population.
To be sure there remain Democrats(considered "right-wingers" by Demercrats) but the "party" leadership is infested with Marxist Progressive Socialists.
